What is a Dutch 088 number?

An 088 office number is for organizations with multiple branches in The Netherlands.
These number series are usually given out in sets of 100 following numbers. The number owner can activate the numbers all at once or one number at a time.
Requesting an 088 number goes through the ACM so it takes about a month before you can use your number.c
